To €95,000 DOE + Package We are assisting a leading delivery partner specialising in Data Centre Solutions with expertise spanning the entire lifecycle of data centre projects in their search for a highly skilled Health & Safety Lead. As a Health & Safety Lead you will be ensuring compliance with local, national, and industry-specific health and safety regulations, minimising workplace risks, and fostering a culture of safety ensuring a safe and healthy working environment across all company operations. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Develop, implement, and monitor the organisation's health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and national health and safety legislation, corporate policies, and other applicable standards. Perform thorough risk assessments and hazard identification across all departments, ensuring that potential hazards are eliminated. Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, near-misses, and health concerns and identify root causes, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Design and deliver safety training programs and awareness initiatives for employees at all levels, ensuring a thorough understanding of health and safety procedures, policies, and responsibilities. Perform regular safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks across company sites to ensure adherence to health and safety policies. Develop and manage emergency response plans, ensuring that the workforce is trained to respond effectively to emergencies. Maintain accurate records of all health and safety-related activities, including incident reports, training logs, risk assessments, and audits and prepare/submit reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required. Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. 9+ years' experience as Health and Safety Lead within construction in data centre, commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical sectors. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices. Proficiency in Autodesk BIM360 Field software and other tools relevant to the role is desirable. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate employees at all levels on health and safety matters. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify hazards and implement corrective measures efficiently.
